RCC members continued their long standing commitment to local High River organizations. This year we made donations to 18 groups spanning the breadth of those in need in High River.

All funds for these donations come from our efforts at the Annual September Show ‘n Shine. This year, we increased the amount charged to participants to $15. On the day of the Show we were able to present a cheque to the Salvation Army Food Bank in the amount of $2206. The same amount was directed towards the restoration of Eamon’s Garage.

Each of these was calculated as $2 per participant in the Show. Additional donations on December 4 were made from the net proceeds of the Show.

This year we supported:

Children’s Wish Foundation Museum of the Highwood Rotary Club of High River
High River Lions Club High River United Church Salvation Army
Rt. Hon. Joe Clark School Spitzee School Holy Spirit Academy
