Connecting Rod and Piston for 368 cu in Lincoln Engine

Tom Mansfield is looking for a replacement rod and piston for this 368 cu in Lincoln Engine

Wikipedia describes this engine as the last in a line of Ford Y Block engines built between 1952 and 1963. Early engines seem to have been designed to use in both Ford and Lincoln heavy trucks with engine capacity and horsepower increasing steadily through 1955 – 57 when the engine appears to have been devoted exclusively to Lincoln and Mercury cars.

Topping out with the 368 cu in (6 litre), the engine produced up to 300 horsepower with a maximum torque of over 400 ft lbs.

If you don’t have the parts, perhaps you can give Tom a lead on possible sources.

Help Restoring a 1964 Chrysler Windsor

Can you help with parts to restore this 1964 Chrysler Windsor?

Dale Delauw would like to see his father in law’s 1964 Chrysler Windsor restored to running condition.

The car is a 2 door hard top with a 383 cu. in. “big block” engine and one of the classic Chrysler push button automatic transmissions.

Father in law, Jeff Marks, has been a High River resident for many years, so perhaps you have seen this car in its better days being driven around town.

The pictures Dale provided suggest that the restoration could have its challenges and unfortunately Jeff’s health means that he isn’t up to the task.
