September Show Vendor Application on-line

Show & Shine Vendors Apply on-line

Starting February 13, becoming a Show Vendor just became easier. Vendors wishing to participate in the River City Classics (RCC) September Show & Shine may complete their Application on-line.
The paper form used in previous years has been superceded through the use of a more dynamic and responsive document available on the RCC web site.
Becoming a Vendor at RCC’s premier event on the last Sunday in September is straight forward.

  • Complete the Vendor Application which you will find as a link under the ‘Sept. Show’ Menu item.
  • Register on-line and pay the, non-refundable, Vendor Application Fee.
  • Keep in touch with our Show Chair via e-mail (showchair@rivercityclassics.ca) to determine the status of the Application

Vendor space at the RCC September Show is allocated in 100 square foot (10 ft X 10 ft) blocks. In the Application, Vendors may request more than one block of space and indeed more than a single location.
Space availability, allocation, and location is at the discretion of the Show Chair.

Apply to become a Vendor at the Sept. Show. Go directly to the Vendor Application.

Members Register and Pay on-line

Registration and Payment

On February 1, the River City Classics Car Club (RCC) announced that it was now able to accept registration of new and returning Members on the Club’s web site.
At the same time the announcement went on to say that both Credit Card and Paypal payments for the annual membership are available on-line.
This updated process has been in the planning for some months. In the process, the RCC web site at www.rivercityclassics.ca was fully migrated to a secure, encrypted, ‘https’ format.
Each time that a page is requested from the site, users will see a green padlock symbol appear on the address line along with the page name. This assures users that their interactions with the site, both login and payment are protected from other internet users.
Beginning with this new registration and payment process, content such as Meeting Minutes, a Membership Profile, and Buy/Sell Item posting requests were added to a restricted ‘Members Home’ area of the web site. Members will need to login to the site before being able to access that content.
Joining RCC is now a much simplified process.

Calendar added to the RCC web site options

A new Calendar option has been added to the navigation menu for the River City Classics web site main menu.

It currently displays all of the monthly meetings for 2016 along with the September 25, 2016 date for this years, 14th Annual Show ‘n Shine.

Please contact me by e-mail using the “Contact” option on the nav bar if you have an event of interest to RCC members which you would like to add to our Calendar.

New colours and layout coming for RCC Web Site

Lighter, fresher colours and a more contemporary layout are coming for the River City Classics web site.  Today we began implementation of the new colours, focusing on a reduction in the amount of bold red which has previously been used on the web site.

In its place you will see colours which are from a more natural palate.  They will be easier on the eyes and along with a fresher look and updated content, we hope that existing and new members will find value in returning more often to the site.

We will be retaining links to our Facebook page (see the left sidebar on our Home page) and to the individual posts, such as this one when there is something of value to say to our constituents.

Going forward, we will be focusing the pictorial, conversational aspects of the Club through the Facebook pages with the web site evolving and incorporating additional functionality and material of direct value to our members.

Simultaneous with the new look we are also moving to implement e-mail addresses which will allow both members and the general public to reach our Executive team directly, rather than the previous practise of directing all communications through the RCC Publisher.  See the web page footer for those e-mail addresses as they become available.

Happy New Year 2016
