The Eamon’s Garage Historical Society is working to restore the Historic Garage. Starting in January 2016 with its relocation to the AG Society Grounds in High River, the Society and many sponsors have worked diligently to bring this piece of Calgary history back to life.
Originally located on Crowchild Trail just west of Calgary, this Art Deco building was a way-station on the old highway to Banff.
It gave way to LRT construction in Calgary and was in storage for 4 years before being relocated to High River.
Restoration of the Building is no small task and will take many man-hours and thousands of dollars to complete.
Following the success of the 2017 Donate and Win campaign, the Society is anxious to repeat for 2018 with a far more impressive vehicle at stake.
For 2018, every $20 you donate to the Eamon’s Garage Historical Society will result in your name joining others for the September 23, 2018 draw. This year’s vehicle is a customized 1929 Ford Tudor.
