Members Benefits

Membership Benefits/Why Join?

Connection to other car crazies – Each of us is passionate about the collection and operation of our “classic” vehicles.  You’ll find kindred spirits interested in vintage, classic, and muscle cars, vintage trucks and even a few vintage motorcycles.

Creation of activities and special events – Each year we have a calendar of our repeat events.  Volunteers are the lifeblood of the organization.  Join one of our existing events or lead one of your own.  Get involved by becoming a volunteer.

Comfort of belonging – you will not be alone in your love of whatever vehicle(s) you own and enjoy.  This group allows you to be you and you will feel comfortable wherever you are when other River City Classics members are around.  Bring your spouse.  Bring your friends.  There’s a place and a role for everyone.

Our club members meet Monthly, generally on the first Monday of the month @ 7:00, at the Call of the West Museum on the AG Grounds in High River. Check the Calendar for exact date and location.

We welcome new members, discuss upcoming events such as the spring BBQ, Canada Day Show in George Lane Park on July 1st. The Kananaskis Cruise in July features a cruise and BBQ west of Longview in K Country. Members only local cruises including the A&W classic show in July raising money for MS.

Premier Show & Shine – Of course there is always our premier event, the September Show & Shine takes over Downtown High River.  This event is held on the last Sunday in September.

In 2016 we celebrated its 14th consecutive year of operation with the attendance of over 1100 cars.  We are pleased to report that the event raised $10000 for local charities.
